One of the most historic neighborhoods in Southwest Albuquerque, Huning Highlands Historic District has a lot to offer. The neighborhood was named after Franz Huning, a prominent businessman in the 1880s when it was built. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places due to the high concentration of Victorian and early twentieth-century homes.
