The Enhancement Center in Clovis
The Enhancement Center began as a dream of founder, Jim Shotwell, an MSW (Masters of Social Work) with a desire to open a private practice and support other mental health professionals.
The Enhancement Center offers both psychotherapy and behavioral support services for people with intellectual disabilities. In fact, Jim began his career in mental health by providing support services to people with intellectual disabilities so it only made sense for him to include those offerings in his private practice as well. Since the beginning of The Enhancement Center, the group has attracted therapists and counselors who are passionate about mental health and helping individuals improve their quality of life.

We Love Clovis, NM
Clovis is a New Mexico city that is close to the border of Texas and it's home to nearly 40,000 people. It has important significance in history because of the artifacts and bones found in the area that point back to America's earliest civilization. The arrowheads found here are famously called Clovis points and were used to hunt wooly mammoths. Clovis is also the largest producer of cheddar cheese in North America. Another feature of Clovis is that it's close to Cannon Air Force Base which is home to over 2,000 airmen and women at any given time. And a fun fact about Clovis is that during the 1950s and 1960s, the town housed Norman Petty Recording Studios which drew in big names like Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison. It still exists today, no longer as a recording studio but as a museum.
