Life Direction

It’s completely normal to reach a point in your life where you need coaching on life direction. It could be after a divorce, wanting to change careers, becoming an empty nester, feeling unfulfilled in your job, or any other scenario in life that leaves you wondering how to move forward. A licensed therapist can help you move forward with confidence as you identify your passions, strengths, and purpose. Having a life purpose can be an important part of mental well-being, so if this is an area you’d like to see growth in, please reach out to us!

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Addiction

Anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction are all concerns that affect your quality of life and can impact your everyday decisions and capabilities. Seeing a licensed therapist provides you with a safe outlet to explore these issues and learn important tools to help you cope. Our therapists use a variety of therapies to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, including EMDR, hypnotherapy, cognitive and behavioral therapy, and more. Some of our therapists also work with these issues in children and use additional, age-appropriate therapies to help. Within our qualified team, we have a therapist who can help you with your concerns using the right type of therapy for you.

Self-Esteem and
Self-Worth

If you have trouble feeling good about yourself, feel a lot of shame and doubt, and generally feel inferior to others, you may be experiencing low self-esteem or self-worth. This is absolutely something you can address with a licensed therapist. Whether this issue is tied to another—like anxiety, depression, or trauma—there are tools a therapist can equip you with to improve how you view yourself and your quality of life. Self-esteem can also be improved with personal coaching. Finding purpose and direction for your life can increase self-esteem. Contact us to help us pair you with a professional in your area that can help.

Major Life Changes
and Adjustments

Going through a major life change like a death of a loved one, a divorce, birth of children, change of job, or another major adjustment can be hard. Sometimes we need the support of someone objective through a season of change, and a licensed therapist can do that for you. Depending on the situation, our counselors can provide personal coaching, grief counseling, or trauma counseling—whatever is appropriate given the life change. If you’re at the point where you’d like some help navigating a major life change, please reach out to the Enhancement Center.

Grief & Loss

It’s perfectly normal to need counseling after losing a loved one that’s close to you. Whether it’s a parent, spouse, child, miscarriage, or someone else dear to you, grief counseling can help you move through the grief processes. A grief counselor can give you tools to accept the reality of the loss, experience the pain, anger, and sadness of the loss, and adjust to life without the deceased while maintaining a healthy connection to them. If you’re interested in seeing a counselor that specializes in grief counseling, please let us know and we will pair you up with someone on our team who can help.

Obsession/ Compulsion

Obsession/compulsion, or OCD, can be a life-altering disorder. But that doesn’t mean that people with this diagnosis just have to deal with it. A licensed therapist can help you overcome obsession and compulsion with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and perhaps other types of therapy that seem helpful given the situation. Medication paired with therapy can also be very helpful, but those can only be prescribed by a physician or a psychiatrist. If you’d like to seek treatment for OCD, we’d be happy to figure out the best path of treatment for you.

Still not sure if it’s for you?
