Restaurant, Park, and Pawnshop in Downtown – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Downtown has a number of restaurants, parks, and pawnshops we’ll discuss in this short post. First, a quick introduction to the area.
Downtown Albuquerque is a neighborhood in Southwest Albuquerque, and it could probably go without saying that it is in the heart of the city center. The Old Town Plaza is right across the street, and the skyline is filled with brightly colored condos and high rises. There are many things to see and do in Downtown Albuquerque, and it’s a beloved part of the city.
Monroe’s Restaurant
One of the best restaurants in Downtown, Albuquerque is Monroe’s Restaurant. This eatery has been around since 1962, and they serve up delicious New Mexican food with a wide variety to choose from like fish tacos or seafood enchiladas! We had a ground beef chimichanga and the hand rolled tacos. Both were the best we’ve ever had. The pork marinated in red sauce is awesome too. We’re only in town for 5 days and are already planning to come back back for breakfast.”
Mary Fox Park
Mary Fox Park is a great place to have an outdoorsy adventure with friends. The play structure and pergolas provide plenty of shade, so you can enjoy your picnic without worrying about getting sunburned or overheated! reviewers on Google commented how this neighborhood park gets its fair share of beautification efforts; they also noted that neighbors care enough in keeping it clean and good in shape.

Pawnshops are more than just a great way to get some quick cash. You can find some pretty sweet deals too! Albuquerque Pawn Shop has been a favorite in the Downtown area, and they have lots of classic Alburquerque pieces that you love like plenty of turquoise jewelry- You can even shop on their website and browse by specific types or styles of jewelry.

Our therapists are available to make appointments any time during the day, Monday through Friday as well after 5 p.m., some Saturday appointments may also be available depending on your therapist!
Mondays through Fridays, we have an office open from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm MST.
