LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)

Back as far as I can remember I’ve been a problem-solver. My goal always has been to make the world a better place and help people have better lives, and now I get to do that. From my first job at The Boys and Girls Club here in New Mexico, I realized the heart of a better community was solid family base and support system. I enter into my bachelor’s degree to get criminals off the street so families would be safe. It didn’t take long before I realize with a minor in psychology that I could get involved sooner. By working with at-risk youth, I could help build solid families from the base up. I continued my Masters in Mental Health and worked with school age kids through APS.
Here at TEC, I am a BSC (Behavioral Support Consultant). I work with those who have developmental disabilities. I help them work out a plan and independence within their lives. Believing in the capacity for all to grow I work with the client at home, work and in the community. I’m dedicated to my clients and dependable in tough situations. I use my problem-solving skills not only to find a solution but to find teachable moments.

My mixed background allows me to connect with people on many different levels. Being a BSC is a gift that I’m grateful to have and share with my community and the greater community at large.
