Bringing over 30 years of experience to her Behavioral Support Consultant role at The Enhancement Center, Julie still loves what she does. Since high school, Julie has wanted to help people. Believing everyone is capable of change, Julie works to help those with disabilities can achieve independence. After graduating from The University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, she has worked with many different populations in the mental health / behavioral health field. Including pediatric oncology patients and their parents, the homeless community and was a hospice social worker for 12 years. in her years she learned not only to help the individual but how to support the family members allowing multiple generations to thrive. Has behavioral support consultant with over 15 years of experience working with the developmentally disabled population she creates safe and consistent environments for her clients. In doing this she creates a safety net for the family and caregivers.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys working out and is a firm believer in the mind-body connection. She works out regularly encourage her clients, caregivers, and family members to relieve stress with some exercise. Julie has also acted in community theater projects in her spare time.
