I call my practice Clinical Holistic Inner Awareness Therapy because it integrates mind, body, emotions and spirit into the healing process. This holistic approach combines elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness and somatic practices with the goal of healing yourself, your relationships, and your life. This therapeutic approach involves becoming aware of the conditioned protective beliefs that are formed by past traumatic events and then reframing them into more accurate, functional beliefs in the present.

Through this process, you will become more conscious of your feelings such as fear, anger, grief and guilt associated with the past trauma. As you become more consciously aware of the inseparable connection between your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings you will be able to regulate your emotions and behaviors.

By gaining mastery over your feelings and thoughts your willpower will strengthen. Working together, we can resolve symptoms of fear, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, dissociation, powerlessness, PTSD and addiction. As you heal and consciously navigate judgmental cultural expectations about gender, being, and behavior you will become your authentic self.
